The water pond around it is also a reference to the environment in which these flowers, which are a type of water lily, miraculously emerge.
In addition, the sun god Ra was born from one of these flowers. In this case, it is composed of eight petals, whose tips point in the direction of all cardinal points, evoking the universality of these concepts.
From its interior emanates a cylindrical structure surrounded by wings, which is precisely one of the evocative symbols of the god Ra, as it is associated with the falcon. And on those spectacular wings, a huge globe to engage the whole world in this endeavor. Around this globe, as if orbiting around it, a series of doves take flight, in a nod to the symbol of peace par excellence.
Another striking detail is equally interesting: the part of the globe that represents the Sinai Peninsula is finished in gold color.
